This is a set of 14 kinds of Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Commemorative Coins including one 500 yen bicolor clad coin and 13 types of 100 yen clad coins in brilliant uncirculated condition.
The design of the obverse of the 500 yen coin features a stylized image of the Thunder God from the Wind God and Thunder God screens, a well-known Japanese artwork, which was chosen by the country’s first ever public vote for a new coin design. The design of the reverse shows the Olympic Games emblem together with the Tokyo 2020 sport pictograms.
The design of the 100 yen coins shows the dynamic figures of athletes and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games mascot (Miraitowa) on the obverse, and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games emblem on the reverse.
